Three (3) year Panasonic 'Protection Plus' coverage included, which covers accidental damage of one major failure per unit per year for the LCD, keyboard, hard drive and system board.

More about ‘Protection Plus’ Coverage:
- Standard on model FZ-55s purchased from TechMate beginning August, 2022.
- Covers accidental damage and has a maximum benefit of one major failure per unit per year for the LCD, keyboard, hard drive and system board.
- If a complete unit needs to be replaced, a replacement unit will be provided.
- Replacement unit will assume the remaining warranty coverage of original unit.
- Only one complete replacement allowed during Protection Plus warranty period.
In-Warranty Repairs:
- Mail defective unit to the National Service Center located in Kansas City, MO.
- Overnight shipping (both ways) is included.
- A box will be sent overnight to Dealer to facilitate shipping, as needed.
- 85%+ of in-warranty units are repaired in 2 days or less.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs:
- Mail defective unit to the National Service Center located in Kansas City, MO.
- Dealer is responsible for shipping (both ways), customs set up and a mandatory diagnostic fee ($130).
- Panasonic will assess the TOUGHBOOK and forward repair quote to the Dealer.
- Once Dealer approves the repair and makes arrangement for payment, the TOUGHBOOK will be repaired and shipped back to the Dealer.
