Rear Axle Kit

The NI-50283 rear axle service kit contains Essential Special Service tools required to service the rear axle assembly on the Titan XD and NV vehicles. There are several required commercially available tools that must be used in conjunction with the Essential tools provided. Refer to the service and safety information for specific details on proper use of the kit components.

Commercial Vehicles dealers will not receive a shipment, as they were all previously shipped these axle service kits. Refer to the service and safety information for specific details on proper use of the kit components.

Required Commercially Available Tools:

Two jaw puller –OTC 1031 or equivalent
Bearing split plate – OTC 1123 or equivalent
Dial indicator set –J-45101 or equivalent
M8 Adapter - J-43690-18 or equivalent
36mm, ¾” drive, double hex 12pt socket – EN-48702 or equivalent
Puller Shaft - J-8433 or equivalent
Threaded Adapter - OTC 8013 or equivalent
40” long, ¾” drive, heavy duty breaker bar

The NI-50283 axle service kit is shipped in two storage cases with die cut foam.
